May 17, 2012 - There's lots of press about the new US dollar coin because some of them don't have the printing on the edge.
The US Mint claims mistakes like that happen all the time but guess what...I don't believe it...they say it could be millions of 'mistake' coins out there and they are fetching $500 on ebay.
Well why would a mint with the technology to print 700 perfect coins a SECOND suddenly not have the ability to spot check such a large number of them?
